JON C. COUNTS, M.D. Family Practice
Dr. Counts is a graduate of University of Oregon at Eugene, Oregon and
Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, Oregon. He completed his
Residency at University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Counts was born
in Roseburg, Oregon. He practiced in British Columbia for six years, and
then in Salem before settling in Myrtle Point in 1984. He and his wife have
two grown children. He also enjoys fly fishing and gardening. Dr. Counts
Joined Coquille Valley Hospital medical staff in 1984. He joined NBMC
in February 2005.

E. REED GURNEY JR., M.D. Family Practice
Dr. Gurney is a graduate
of Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine, Portland, Oregon.
He completed his Residency at San Bernardino County Medical Center, San
Bernardino, California. Dr. Gurney was born in Portland, Oregon. He began
his practice in 1977, following in his father's footsteps and practicing
beside him for several years. Time spent away from his practice is spent
with his wife and four children, three of whom are in college. He also
enjoys fishing, camping with his family, and gardening. He joined the
Coquille Valley Hospital medical staff in 1977. He joined NBMC in February
2005. |
