POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the management of NBMC Myrtle Point facility and office staff.  Also serves as a facilitator regarding process and procedures for the providers and their medical assistants.  Works closely with NBMC Administration to develop, implement, and monitor procedures and policies. Manage all aspects of daily operations.

PRINCIPLE JOB DUTIES: 

  • Manage and maintain employee schedules and time keeping records

  • Manage staff time off requests

  • Assist in the recruitment of providers

  • Assist new providers in establishing their practice

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and accounting of office supplies and equipment

POSITION SUMMARY:
Process provider billing of charges for all services that are performed by outside of NBMC, such as hospital admits, visits, discharges, ER visits, sleep study interpretations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain access to hospital portal for billing and patient demographic information

  • Prepare billing for entry, by verifying online with hospital the patient information, admit and discharge dates

  • Review physician billing for any code corrections, bundled services, or modifiers that are needed

  • Entry into Allscripts Practice Management system

  • Set up new accounts in all scripts

  • Print daily the billing submitted by providers on the handi-base system

  • Provide customer service both via phone and in person

  • Take payments from patients, arrange payment plans and billing inquiries

  • Constructively manage patient concerns

  • Account maintenance – combining of accounts, name changes, address corrections, insurance coverage updates, adding newborns to existing accounts

  • Track and monitor provider billing, notify provider and manager of missing charges

  • Work with providers to submit billing in a timely manner

  • All billing must be completed by month end

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibilities of this role is to support the Allscripts Application stack & the training of end users on all vPC related software that NBMC has chosen to support. The Software support will include Allscripts electronic healthcare record, Microsoft Office (2013 & 2010), Basic Computer usage (Windows 7 & 8) Help in keeping track of new features in EHR system (a complete list will be published on the Sharepoint site). Interface with staff on EHR system desires and needs. This department will also be responsible to build, create and train user documents used for training material.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist manager in training users on all NBMC supported end user software.
2. Understand how all NBMC supported software pertains to each user and their job function.
3. Assist Manager in training users when upgrades of new processes or software occur.
4. Phone and ticketing system work. Have a high degree of getting things done and wanting to get the job finished by the end of the day.
5. Demonstrate a high degree of skill in communicating and positive interaction with all NBMC and non NBMC Staff.
6. Verify that staff understand how to correctly enter data to maintain correct charting for the county, State, Government requirements as pertains to meaningful use or other reporting requirements needed for the Clinic quality measures, meaningful use & other metrics used to make CQS a reality.
7. Provide support with staff who are having problems with data entry into the EHR system.
8. Provide refresher trainings on the EHR system & other software.
9. Use and provide build specs for the Ticketing system to allow users to get the most out of the system. 
10. Help automate solutions as much as possible.
11. Alert and help communicate the message to staff of changes that would affect their data entry, jobs and reporting requirements.
12. Relay suggestions and receive relayed suggestions from tech staff the needs of the users to IT staff & back regarding EHR & other software use.
13. Learn and Know the Clinic’s processes so as to assist staff with these functions and help build a smoother operation throughout the clinic.
14. Help maintain accurate data, particularly in our EHR system, and help where data collection and reporting could be improved.
15. Help staff with their education needs and other training requirements as requested and when approved.
16. Shadow new employees during the beginning of their employment to make sure they are using the system effectively and correctly.

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direction of a physician and utilizing the nursing process provides perioperative nursing care at a professional level. Performs a variety of nursing procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required. Licensed personnel will practice only within their scope of practice.

SIGNIFICANT DUTIES:

A.  Patient Care

  1. Assess patients throughout perioperative period establishing appropriate documentation on nursing record.

  2. Start IVs and administer medications ordered by physician, instituting appropriate patient monitoring techniques.

  3. Prepare patients for procedures through explanation, patient positioning, pre-operative surgical scrub and draping as needed.

  4. Provide post anesthesia/analgesia care to patients utilizing appropriate PACU standards.

  5. Provide emotional support as appropriate to perioperative patients and family.

  6. Know how to gather required instruments, supplies and equipment for procedures.

  7. Know how to operate and do limited maintenance on day surgery equipment.

  8. Assist physicians as needed.

  9. Know how to set up and maintain a sterile field.

  10. May be responsible for specific areas of teaching of personnel.

  11. Other duties as assigned.

 

B. Administrative Responsibilities

  1. Maintain adequate records as directed.

Research specimen requirements for referred tests.
